Faculty of Philosophy BelgradeMULTICULTURALISM AND RELIGIOUS PLURALISM: ROMANIAN NAZARENES AS MINORITY-WITHIN-MINORITY IN VOJVODINAAbstract

In this paper we will examine the position of small religious community of Romanian Nazarenes in Vojvodina in the context of different multicultural theories. Minority religions are very often obliged to dominant political/cultural/ religious discourse. The relationship between state and authentic identities of micro-communities is very often reduced to declarative acceptance only, without any further development. The essentialization of the usual minority identities – ethnic, represents an obstacle in recognizing one different dimension of pluralistic society, dialog and tolerance in multicultural debates.

BelgradeECUMENISM, ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT AND WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHESAbstract

Ecumenism is much more Western "characterized", and related to achieve integration of Christian Churches. Western "organizational" approach is criticised by Orthodox Church, that insists on implementing theological criterions of Undivided Church. The foundation of Ecumenical Movement was initiated by Protestant Church, and accepted by Orthodox one. God has done for us what we could not do for ourselves.

Alcoholics AnonymousSummary

In the article the author presents different theoretical and methodological approaches to substance addiction: biological, socio-cultural, psychological, and narrative theories. The author argues that we have to develop a comprehensive theory of addiction that should include not only biomedical, psychological and socio-cultural factors but spiritual aspects of the individual as well. A more holistic and yet fully empirical model of research in addictiology as a human science must indeed include the spiritual dimension. Therefore, a comprehensive...
