Novi SadCOMPARATIVE METHOD: POSSIBILITY OF OBSERVATION OF THE LANGUAGE AND DEITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE WORK OF ERNST KASSIRERSummary This sociological study has proved one of the many already concluded aspirations of the society that is certainly heading the future, in the even more apparent direction of individualism. Ernst Kassirer's standpoints on the topics of language, myths and deities and Antonina Kloskowska's theoretical models of the culture and symbolic communication were used in making the essey (in addition, some critique of other philosophers, such as, Lucien Henry and Emile Durkheim were given in the essey). In the methodology of sociological research, content analysis with the theoretical support in sociolinguistcs (which is not studied in all departments...

Associate Dean of Extended studies of Theology Evangelical Theological Seminary Osijek, CroatiaMEANING OF TRANSCENDENCY IN POSTMODERNISMResume We live in times of society transitions, but also in times of transitions of religious reality. Western understanding of religiosity significantly has influence on globalistic level, which is partialy begins to feel in our areas. Religious changes are visible on lower level of ecclesiastical identification and participation, as even in reduced influence of religiosity on everyday life of a believer. Transcedentity as inner expression of communication with God, in postmodernism becomes inferior in relation to religious visible form. Everyday more, man starts to experience God in the way which man imagines him, God which is...

Novi BečejSummaryThe Relationship Between Theology and Philosophy in the Middle Age As the mankind has changed trough history, so has the significance of philosophy. It has traveled a long way, from the sublime, over needed, to useful, but regardless of everything it succeeded to maintain! In the middle ages it was under the submission of theology what made it appear less useful and influential. Maybe at the first glance this doesn't appear to be so due to not being admired by the church fathers, but if it wasn't philosophy, neither the theology could have risen so high. Philosophers were condemned and seen as nonbelievers, but the essence of every Christian teaching consists of their knowledge. Philosophy was pushed out of the first view but was never destroyed. How would...

Novi SadDESECULARIZATION IN SERBIAN ART AND MUSICResume
Desecularization as a sociological phenomenon in Serbia has caused serious changes in the field of art, too. Religion which was forbidden after the II World War, in late eighties started to be a significant field of interest of artist. The works inspired by religion have all the characteristics of the desecularization of the society, in the first place the ones that are concerned with permanent secularization inside of desecularization. Summary
FROM UNIFORMITY TO DIVERSITY OR FROM SIMILARITY TO DIVERSITY
"The one who speaks of postmodernism actually speaks of modern." Because postmodernism makes sense only when relating to that which is modern. Let us first consider what an overview of postmodernism offers. Its goal is not so much to teach us something new as much as an attempt to break our old habits. That is the reason why the work of postmodernists should be appreciated more for the questions asked rather than for the answers given. Postmodernists are more skilful in asking questions and less in giving answers!
Key words: postmodernism, modern, relativism, pluralism, universalism.
